Owen got into filmmaking through skateboarding as a teenager, trying to capture the energy and culture around it. That led to working with some of the skate world’s most prominent figures and eventually moving into documentary and commercial projects.

After spending time in Los Angeles working under Hollywood DPs, directors, and seasoned gaffers, Owen learned not just what images should look like, but how they’re built and why they work. Now back home in Bend, Owen is focused on documentary and narrative-driven work, helping local businesses and real stories stand out in a way that feels honest and intentional.
