It all started with a conversation over coffee. Or maybe a beer. (Honestly, knowing us—it was probably both.)
In January of this year, three pines collective came to life—not with a formal announcement or big press splash, but with a shared vision: to do meaningful work, tell honest stories, and root ourselves in a creative community we love.
We had a goal. We had a plan. And we had the energy to chase both.
No office, no roadmap full of guarantees—just a fierce belief in our ability to serve people well and show up with integrity. We worked from kitchen tables, coffee shops, and brewery patios. Took meetings at Dilly Dally. Edited on the go. Packed the car with gear and got to work—wherever the work was.
We showed up. And it started to pay off.
Clients took a chance on us. Collaborators offered their time. And strangers became friends, opening their doors (and inboxes) to help us grow. Some gave us referrals. Others shared hard-won knowledge and walked us through lessons we hadn’t yet learned. All of them—all of you—contributed to the foundation of what we’re building. We’ll never stop being grateful for that.
And now, after six months of hustle and heart, we’re stepping into something new: our first real home.
This June, we signed the lease on a studio space in the heart of downtown Bend.
In typical three pines fashion, we dove straight into the chaos: unboxing what felt like a million boxes, assembling furniture late into the night (with music, dogs, friends, and tacos, of course), and engaging in a humbling three-day spiritual battle with the Wi-Fi setup. There were cords. So many cords.
But in the middle of all that chaos—there was a moment that stopped us in our tracks.
Our sign went up.
Right there, above the entrance, three pines collective in clean, bold type. Seeing it on the building for the first time stirred something in us. It wasn’t just signage—it was a milestone. A symbol. Proof that the long hours, the last-minute shoots, and the coffee-fueled strategy sessions were leading somewhere real.
It was a moment of pride. And a reminder that we’re building something we truly believe in.
With the space also came another exciting milestone: our first full-time team member.
We’ve added a wildly talented and thoughtful creative to the crew—someone who brings not only skill, but curiosity, kindness, and a sense of fun that matches the three pines spirit. Their first week? Let’s just say it was more cozy than corporate.
We shared mornings with good coffee and better conversation. We talked about creativity, work, life, and the future. We brainstormed ideas for current projects. We listened to new vinyls between meetings. Juggled soccer balls in the hallway. Shot hoops on the mini basketball hoop when we needed to think (or not think). There were snacks, playlists, and laughter woven between the work.
It was exactly what we hoped this space would become—a creative environment where people feel comfortable, energized, and able to bring their whole selves to the table.
We’re building out a dedicated podcast and photo studio inside the space—something we’ve dreamed about since day one. It’ll be a space for storytelling, not just from us, but from the brilliant minds we meet in this work: founders, artists, designers, makers, thinkers. People doing real, meaningful things here in Bend and beyond.
And there are some big projects on the way.
We’re collaborating with brands we admire—on campaigns that stretch across mediums and challenge us creatively in the best possible ways. While we can’t share all the details just yet (stay tuned), we can say this: it’s work we’re proud of. Work that makes us better. Work that reflects what three pines collective is here to do.
We’re planning a little launch hangout—a simple celebration with friends, family, clients, collaborators, and creatives. We want to open our doors, raise a toast, and say thank you in person. No velvet ropes, no sales pitches. Just good people, good vibes, and an invitation to connect.
Because at the end of the day, that’s what this whole thing is about: building relationships, making cool stuff, and doing it all in community.
To everyone who’s trusted us, advised us, welcomed us, worked with us, or even just sent a kind message—thank you.
The first chapter of three pines collective is full of your fingerprints. And we can’t wait to keep building something that makes you proud.
With gratitude, excitement, and a fridge full of tasty beverages,
The Team At three pines collective
